hello,

i think this thread should become a 'sticky'
it has a wealth of information in it

and adding to it are these 3 videos
which really help me understand basic music theory

video 1 = scales

video 2 = chords

video 3 = chord progression / inversions

This was so helpful. I am just beginning to produce music and this was exactly what I was looking for. I found out that the chord progression map posted by OP is somewhat similar to what this guy was teaching. Thank you dude.
