Hi ! I’ve been loving and trying to reproduce the snare drum sound of the Dépêche Mode song « lie to me ». I’ve tried with Subtractor and Thor and Kong, but no luke to this day. Is anybody wanting to reproduce it ?

I had a listen to the track. I'm no expert but it sounds like a Linndrum clap. Maybe the snare is from the same drum machine?

Someone here says they used an Emu Drumulator on some of their tracks around the same time.

But also:
Some Great Reward(1984)
Mostly real drums/percussion sampled into the Synclavier II.
