importing midi in player/arpeggiator

is there any way to import a midi file into a player / arpeggiator?
Alternatively, is there a synth / RE equipped with an arpeggiator that allows you to import a midi file?

I'm not aware of an RE that allows that but why would you not just import the MIDI file into the sequencer?

What player are you talking about or is this just a general question.

None of the devices allow drag n drop midi only the main daw sequencer but some players with a record button can receive the midi via the use of the record button.
