I'm hoping to get a long list going of some useful, interesting or inspiring tips and tricks here - specifically geared towards the Reason DAW/RRP.
Further ideas will be added as time progresses, and if anyone has further ideas please feel free to share.

- Enhance shakers and hihats by using noise and a vocoder. Complex-1 has a endless noise generator so it's good to use in this instance.

- "Automate the back of Rack" by routing CV through Thor using the mod matrix, then automate Mod Dest Amount or link it to a relative Rotary knob of the Thor or Combinator

- Quickly change sampling input by routing the Control Room Output (or use a spider from CR or Mains), together with the Audio inputs of your Soundcard into the 6:2 mixer and then to the Sampling Input. Key commands can then assigned to the solo buttons of the 6:2 mixer, for quickly changing from internal and external 1 or 2 sampling.

- Quick and Easy Haas Effect by using the Tape Echo, by setting the delay to 1ms and the RH Channel offsite between 8-16ms.

- Use instruments as effects by utilizing the audio input available on Thor, Malstrom, Kong, Parsec, Scenic, Radical Piano

- Quick and Widen Effect by using RV-7 half rack device, set the size at an extremely low value e.g 2 and adjust the wetness to taste

- Create a constant power crossfader by swapping the left right channels of two audio outputs into a 14:2/6:2 mixer. Then use a combinator knob linked to the Pan knobs of each channel, with one pan knob inversely set to Rotary. Or just download the Morphin Crossfader - its free.

- Create independent combinator knobs This way, the combinator increases/decrease the parameter relative to the position its in and does not set the parameter itself.. Inside a combinator, create a Thor, set Thor's rotary knob to max and use the mod matrix to send it to a CV output. Link the CV output to the CV input of a device parameter (or use Combinator CV input if not available). Link the combinator Knob to Thor's Mod Matrix Destination amount.

- Use to NN19 to house all your favorite samples - some say its a redundant device, but its mappable parameters are still very useful. Great to use to keep all your favorite kick/snare or efx samples in one place.

Get the Matrix, Thor's Seq and Arp to stay in Key by housing Scales/Chords with an instrument inside a combinator. Then route the aforementioned utilities to the CV/Gate input of the combinator
