Ideas for quantizing or evenly dividing the steps from any mod source?

I'm looking for a way to modulate the Tune knob in Kontakt VST. It ranges from + to - 36 semitones, and can be MIDI learned, but standard MIDI CCs (and presumably CVs, too) don't stop at semitones, they sweep continuously, as in the gif, so the shifted pitches are only approximate:



So, I figure if I could figure out some way to constrain either MIDI or CV signals to 73 equal steps, that woud do the trick.

Anybody got any ideas about how to do this in Reason, with all the amazing CV tools and step sequencers it offers? TIA!
