Grain freeze motion
When setting the 'Motion' to 'Freeze' there is a way to automate the motion so you can draw in the playback motion rather than use an envelope or a loop feature. I know it must be set to 'Freeze' but I'm not sure what it is that needs to be automated. It's not immediately visible if I remember correctly, it's in a menu or something, hope someone knows and can chime in, thanks!!!

Have you tried recording and then moving it with the mouse?
Hmmm not sure what you mean, I have a sample loaded and want to automate the playback position while the motion is set to freeze.

yer its ..........env1 100 Postion ...... in the mod matrix.
Then it depends what speed you want to set the env. If your original sample in 2 bars your env should be 2 bars etc etc
Set it on loop/key trig mode if your playing a midi keyboard

Good thinking 99! There's another way too, but this works well enough, cheers!PhillipOrdonez wrote: ↑27 Mar 2019Hit record, then move the playback position with the mouse while it plays. Iirc, that should do it
Trying not to use the envelope here and to just automate the position of the motion myself, looks like I have a solution, cheers.Reasonable man wrote: ↑27 Mar 2019yer its ..........env1 100 Postion ...... in the mod matrix.
