Trying to automate the 'Mode' selections (Normal / Triggered / Roll) on the Echo and I can't seem to draw in an automation lane? Can't figure it out and need to make a workaround just so I can continue - but would like to know what I'm missing or not understanding here, thanks!!

Right click on switch on Echo and select Edit Automation. It should create a lane for you to edit. Also record a blank space and manually toggle the switch. This will write automation data to a lane.

Oh wait I see now. It writes to a pattern select lane which is alien. That's a bug

To workaround put Echo in Combinator and map rotary to master > input mode and automate the knob.

Gonna report this as a bug as part of the 10.3 testing. I'll credit you for discovering it. Edit: I might as well simply give them this link. Unless someone already has, no-one else need do this now.
