Hi :reason: gang,

So this time I would like to pan my hithat left to right automatically (or bouncing it left to right if you want). Which utility tools or effect could I use to do the job?

Thanks :)

Pulsar or maybe Matrix if you want some irregularities

Many ways to achieve that but what I usually do is use a line mixer and pulsar. Using the line mixer is useful because I can decide where in the effects chain I want to do the panning.

You can also use something like Pulverizer but I find that imparts too much color on sounds when I don't want it to.

So what are the right settings to make the sound bounce left and right on Pulsar? Because I don't hear anything bouncing :/

Edit--

I think I forgot the line mixer

Automation isn't such a great way of achieving automatic panning

You can take an LFO etc. straight into the Mix Channel.

I also often use hh / tambourine loops in OctoRex assigning tempo synced lfo to panning.
