The game is suppose to be "hear this sound and recreate it" but it's actually just "match the guidelines for each parameter"

Maybe I didn't give it a chance.. does it take the guidelines off as you go further up? If not, you can essentially turn off your volume and pass each level easily.

Not much of a game if you are just matching guidelines

Maybe the beginning challenges are for you to get an idea of the sound to the look of the wave.
Then later its all by ear.
