Hello Guys,

Can someone instruct me on how to make a piano-string section patch in reason, please?
Have not been able to locate one within the included patches. Thank you!

For a piano you can try some kind of FM bell like stuff or in the direction of a guitar-string with a Karplus-Strong oscillator or a saw with short decay on the filter. For strings saw, pulse or triangle work quite good in general.

Here is a simplified and reduced example from a older patch i had laying around. I think you get the idea.

HEy Thanks for your response.
I was thinking more like with pre-existing samples (NNXT or NN19)
Is this possible with a combinator or something?
Im not so hot with synth programming

Yes. Drag a Combinator into the rack, drag a mixer into the Combinator and drag your instruments below the mixer into the Combinator.

Ayy! I made my very first combinator patch thanks to Loque!
Would not have quickly guessed to add small mixer :thumbs_up: :D
