Hello, I am a piano/keyboard player finally getting into creating my own music. However I don't know how to "record" something like a variable filter or effects sound onto a track. I'm not quite sure how to explain this. Kind of like slowly turning the knob on a flanger or equilizer filter. I know I sound like I don't know what I'm talking about - because I don't!
What is this action I'm referring to? Mixing? I'm able to find and play around with cool effects and filters on my tracks. But I want these effects to vary at my control throughout the song. I don't want the same effects on all tracks. It would be nice to be able to fine tune this effect, through time. Maybe a graphical window if possible.
If someone can set me on the right track to what I need to research, I would appreciate it. I'm using reason lite, if that matters. Thank you!
Help With "Variable" Mixing/Filtering/Effects?
