Can anyone help?..

I've made a patch with a combinator, and want to apply and envelope to it, so I can soften the attack of the patch, but the ECF-42 ADSR section does nothing.

A) Why not?

B) How can I soften the attack of my combinator patch? (I will need step-by-step help if it involves wiring a synth for ADSR purposes  )

Thanks!

The envelope would be coming from your instruments amp envelope, no?

If you have multiple instruments you'll have to program a knob to link the attack of all involved.

The ECF needs a Gate signal connected on the back to trigger its ADSR.

To smooth an attack of (probably) a sound generated by synths within a combinator, you need to increase the Attack of each sound. Post a Screenshot or the patch, and we can help more.

Thanks guys, I've assigned the attack for each instrument for the combi rotary knob, and it's done the trick.

I thought I might have been able to simply connect an ADSR tool to the combi, but this works fine.

Cheers.
