When your vocals go off rhythm...

It can happen, especially when it comes to more rapid parts. I used to do multiple takes until everything was perfect, and if there still was any problem, I just nudged, and mix/matched everything while editing.

One of these days I said: to hell with it. See, a band once said, they always sung in chorus, cause none of their vocalists were perfect. They became a hit! Imperfection isn't always a bad thing, so why not make the most of it? To get to the point, I don't think it's such a bad idea to take all your usable takes and combine them, aka play at once. Unless something is really off. Small imperfections will get far less audible and the effect is pretty unique, too. Like, why not use everything? Just like in cooking (without rotten parts, clearly).
