So of all the synths I have, Europa continually pulls me in. I just started messing with the "Envelope 3-4" waveform setting and am blown away that I can actually edit my own waveforms. Is this a common feature in Synths?
Also, is there any theory to constructing a waveform? I change thinsg around and they definitely sound different... Are there any sources out there that explain in depth how to shape a waveform?
Trying to grasp waveform manipulation in Europa
EXpanse has this feature, Oberon since a while and some vst synths.
I am playing around with it too and i use a oscilloscope to see, what change in waveform produces which sound. For example 3/4 sine for bass and the rest a triangle for higher frequencies or just add a click sind at the end... Just experiment with it, i do not know any tutorial or further reading.
