How to send MIDI from a plugin to another track?

I have a plugin that can output MIDI notes. I want to route it to the MIDI input of an instrument on a different track. Other DAWs, like Reaper, let me do this, but I can't figure out how to make this happen in Reason. Any advice is appreciated.

If you are using the VST in Reason then no is the basic answer.
If you are running it standalone then there are a couple of ways, comes down to if you want to record or not.
If you want to record, then the standalone device will more than likely will have to be routed to a midi loop back device then you can set that up as a standard keyboard controller in Reason and lock or give focus to the instrument you want to record the notes to and hit record.
