listening to some recent progressive house...soooo over it!!

you know, 808 type kicks that decay too long, and no bassline! Maybe if they shortened them and notched some of the nasties, things would be better.

Or maybe it's just me. I like tight kicks.

The decay knob is crucial.

That doesn't sound like the progressive house I know but rather a hijacking from the modern EDM wave just like how they hijacked trap music from rappers. :lol:

The progressive house I know has basslines. :thumbs_up:

I'm guilty of this. Perhaps bad monitoring is a cause, it's easy to miss just how much those kicks are ringing out sometimes.
