Maybe try this one out if you haven't?

It's got both thunder and rain samples amongst other things.

I used it for both thunder and crickets in this track. The samples are actually played in the background during the entire track to create some ambience but it's most apparent in the intro and at 1:17.

Subtractor has a thunder patch! and rain I think. Rain would be easy enough just filtered white noise could possibly use the Vinyl and Tape modes on Audiomatic. The noise on a Subtractor is decent enough for rain from an init patch too. Pan the mix knob to the right to turn OSC 1 off the noise oscillator is now only on if OSC2 is on turn it off. Lower level and decay/color is a good result then into audiomatic works a charm.
It is not too much of an ask for people or things to be the best version of itself!

Another thumbs up for Mixfood Ambience Generator.

The samples are quality and you have excellent control over how the elements you choose 'vibe' with each other.

It does what its name implies.

If Mixfood Ambi is on sale for $9, there's no need to look elsewhere.
