Hi all,

I'm messing around with some vocal samples and trying to achieve the following:
I've got two samples belonging together, a start of a phrase which lasts a few seconds and the end vowels of the phrase. Is there a way to trigger the end sample after releasing a key. So pressing a key will start the first part of the sample. With the NN-XT i can add a loopingpoint, but when i release the key, i want reason to play the end part of the second sample. Is this possible and how? Can anyone point me in a direction?

Thx for any help.

AFAIR Thor has a Gate-Release trigger which could be used on key up. Just route it out to a CV and this CV to your Gate input. Not sure if this works in Poly, but you can try it.

You can do this with NNXT. For the “off” sample set the Play Mode to FW-SUS, and the Loop Start AND End to 0%. You may need to increase Release time as well.
