Anyone using Shepard-Risset Glissandos in their projects - like Zimmer & Pink Floyd?
Didn't even know that was a thing. I will be using it now. That shits crazy.

I caught Dunkirk at the cinema, I think this effect was used a ton. The movie and music tied together very well and made for a very intense experience, highly recommend catching it at the cinema if you can.
Nice to know this effect is not too difficult to achieve, might try it out some time.

Couple of lame examples I conjured up. The second example has two offsetting shepards with a tick-tock. It loops well.

OK, having some trouble replicating this! What increments do you use to lower/raise the volumes of upper and lower octave?

Yes a great effect especially for film tension...get it wrong though with a synth and it sounds like a siren

Would be great to do something like that but not with just one tone but with a full arrangement.
