I was using a HaMu Newtrol 8 to do basically the same thing, but I was having to use the CV8X4 to scale the CV on the Newtrol to get the knob range correct. Cutting out the Newtrol 8 and using the CV8X4 alone works much better (and takes up less screen real estate). Thanks!
