Audio to CV w/stock w/o delay?

Is it possible to convert an audio signal (say a percussion hit) to CV using stock devices and also such that there's no delay inserted in the conversion? I need to do this for visualization purposes. For example, I want to take a single hit, put it through an EQ and also a compressor and then run all those through a visualizer. Most CV visualizers don't take an audio in.
