Found this: https://music.tutsplus.com/tutorials/qu ... audio-6914

A possible use case is to create instruments in Reason with just one MIDI button press.
For that, you need to record the keys sequence you´d press when navigating to the instrument in Reason Browser (it´s a bit tricky since the list of devices may vary depending on the amount of rack extensions you own, but it´s doable)

Tested this and works for me, however, there are some things to note:

- BOME Midi Translator will fail if the MIDI port of the MIDI controller is already locked for a control surface in Reason. To circumvent this I found
  1. map the controller MIDI port to a virtual midi port within BOME MIDI Translator
  2. activate MIDI Through within BOME MIDI Translator
  3. In Reason, use the virtual MIDI input port as input for the control surface
