Hi Everyone!

I am trying to get this open hi-hat sucking sound (don't know if this technique has a name) on the Redrum, as seen in this video at 1:18.

The bit ant the end of the bar, as in the sucking open hi-hat (4th one). I have kind of achieved it, by putting an open hi-hat then a closed right after and it sounds right but now the closed hi-hat overlaps the next bar and sounds wrong or late.

Does anyone know if this technique has a name or how to achieve it. I could include an example of what I've done so far if needed.

Thanks!

You have to use slot 8 & 9 and have the button for "Channel 8-9 Exclusive" checked (on). That way the following closed hat will automatically cut off the open hat.
