Hello peeps!

In one of my tracks, i wanted to have an effect of a sound moving from the right to the left in the track mix. How can i accomplish this?

Hi

The obvious answer seems to be to suggest you Automate (right click) the Pan knob on the SSL Mixer.

Were you after anything more involved than that?

Ok I will try that. Just only that. Nothing else after it.

If you only want the sound to travel right to left then that is all that is needed.

If you are looking to add a Dopler effect (wheeeaawww) then you need to do some more work and I would recommend a Combi to automate using one knob:

1. Pan R-L
2. Volume lo-hi-lo
3. Pitch lo-hi-lo
4. Tone (Low & Hi Pass Filters) lo-hi-lo
5. Reverb (or other space effects like Delay) lo-hi

Of course, generally just the pan knob is enough to get the listener to believe they are hearing the rest.
