I want to add some vinyl crackle to a track i'm working on. Ableton has a built in effect which does this, so what does Reason counter with?
Or is the best way simply to use a recorded sound file. If then, how do i make it stand out and really sparkle into the ears?

Oh, didn't know that reason had an included device for that now. I don't have access to Audiomatic since I'm running 6.5. Maybe for now, I'm just gonna try to find some wav file then.

I was just going to say, surely there's some stuff on Youtube, maybe even some of that 10 hour stuff
But if you're still on 6.5 and want to do it yourself, Thor can do some very nice things with the Noise osc, as was mentioned. Blend the Static with White/other noise.

goldbaby's "vinyl drum machines" refill is very worthwhile... it contains a bunch of rex loops of vinyl pops
Will give that a go. Cheers man.Vince-Noir-99 wrote: ↑05 Apr 2016Thor > Noise Osc > Static Waveform > mess around with the Mod knob etc..CookieClimber wrote:Oh, didn't know that reason had an included device for that now.
