Hi,

How would one go about recreating the string synthesizer sound that starts at 2 minutes into this track?

Aah, you're in my world now.

That seems a pretty standard String Machine like a Solina through a Phaser.

Try Sub or Thor with little Filtering, a mild Phase and some Chorusing that creates the Vibrato. Play with the Two OSC on different Octaves with different Mix to get that Organ-ish vibe.

I'll give that a shot. If anything good comes out I'll report back :)

Great. And that is a bloody brilliant album by the way.

It is! What's interesting to me is that initially I didn't really care for that track, but over time I've grown to love it a great deal. It reminds of waves crashing on an alien shore on a distant planet, where a lonely space traveler has been stranded.

I understand. I used to laugh at my friend for playing his "sleepytime" music. Now I own more TD and other true electronic music than he ever did. I even write the stuff. Irony.
