hi

a short video explaining how a Boolean logic function thanks to Thor module.

step 1
create a thor Module
write in the thor programming matrix as explained in the video

step 2
create a combinator
place the thor in the combinator

step 3
programming in the combinator for thor
cv input 1 -> Button 1: 0: 1
CV input 2 -> button 2: 0: 1

How to use it,
you simply choose which signal will trigger the input Cv 1 and 2 of combinator.
when the 1 and 2 buttons will be active at the same time then the output Cv 1 of Thor module will take the value delivered by the rotary 1

Sorry, I missed this the first time around... Now the video is gone... Could you explain step one in a little more detail?

Thanks!

D.

i re uplaod the vids soon :)
i explain how to use bouton 1 and bouton 2 to build a basic function boolean "AND"
the idea , with matrix on Thor and scaling we can made a routing like this CV input -> scale bouton 1 -> scale bouton 2 -> cv output
so we can take all forms ( lfo sinus or square ) to retrig the Bouton and bouton 2

This is pretty cool. Note that there is a RE which does exactly that and even more. The Chronologists TRUTH LOGIC GATE. You have "AND", "ON", "NAND", "NOR", "XOR", "XNOR" and some more. It is rellay cool for triggering stuff depending on the LFO or Envelopes. It is a shame that for all The Chronologist devices there are almost no tutorials and you hardly ever hear about them, but they are so powerful. If the developer would invest more time in documentation and video tutorials more people could maybe appreciate what these devices are capable of.

Thank you very much for uploading the video. But my brain freeze when encountering deeper CV stuff combined with a video in French (that I have a poor to no command of) or with auto translated captions didn't not help me to understand this any better!
I appreciate the effort though!

This is great! I wish there were more examples of creative uses for such things. Also, it would be very cool if Chronologists' made a couple of demos...
