How are you guys triggering Buffre with audio?

I've just created a little combinator to have Buffre be triggered by audio so that I can, for example have a snare being pitch shifted each time it is played.

I've included a little demo: http://phead.mu/s/THLMmisI (Project file included).

The first snare does not trigger properly (need to figure out quirks).
