Is that really the interface? I thought at first that it was just an artistic render, but I went to the url and looked at all the images and that appears to be the only one that is straight on. The combo of lighting, scratches and low-res text makes it very difficult to read.

There are some videos out there like this one that show the actual interface, but yeah, that image they chose is not good. ;-)

This one shows the "AGE" knob where you can adjust the clean to dirty look.....

Oh ok. Yeah that's better lol. Unless I was overlooking it, even if they use the other image, they should still include the actual interface image on the page.

While the videos seem amazing, I just don't trust that in real usage that it will be special at all. It is easy to have IRs seem amazeballz in short/specific situations but overall I find them flat and weird. I haven't demoed tho so only speculating based on my feelings around IRs and things from this Dev I have tried and abandoned (despite the freeness).

Sale price is "only" €179 ($188 USD). This Thing is going to have to sound WAAAAY better than emulations from the likes of Cherry Audio and Arturia.

There is now a freebie called TH2, thought I'd try it out...

It crashes Reason when just trying to open the plugin window.

I had used the standard installer, so figured I'd try their app Aquarius to install it. That froze...

This was my first love/poly synth to work with, although I did not own it I ran the studio where it lived!
Will be interesting to see how their new tech stands up against other models of this classic synth, since they claim it uses a hybrid approach beyond static modeling and static IRs. That said, I’ll base my opinion on how this sounds/feels because I WANT it to feel like the real deal (but I haven’t played one in years so I’ll only have nostalgia to base my opinion on!).

Well I got confirmation via a Reason report that they could also reproduce the TH2 crash in Reason and they also were able to reproduce the crash in Live. Can't even open it...

The crash was caused by a missing framework. This issue should now be resolved.
