Quilcom (Rex Basterfield) has a ton of VSTs. His latest is Quilcom SIM-FILM. This will replicate the sounds from old movie projectors. All of his VSTs are on one page, so scroll to the bottom to get the latest. I also like Ghost Radio, Trout and Spin Synth.

All of his plugins are free.
Some of his older plugins are 32 bit only, but I think everything below "TERRORMIN V1.101" is 64 bit.

Some of these look great! But Windows only (sigh)

A lot of those Quilcom vsts look great. (Particularly Ghost Radio)

I downloaded a few in 64bit versions. Put them in the same folder as my other VSTs, but sadly none of them worked.

(I'm running Reason 12)

The notes provided suggested I might need to download Microsoft C++. I followed the link provided in the notes, but there were 3 different downloads. So I panicked and decided to ask for help here, before doing anything else.

Thanks

I already had C++ installed, so I never ran into that issue. But, I would use the vcredist_x64.exe file (you should probably set a restore point in Windows before the install too).

Thank you Worker 13.

All sorted. Appreciate your help.

I fear I'm going to now waste a lot of time this evening playing with my new toys.
