Just noticed this is now free from Cherry Audio's site, though also saw it on Acoustica, but I guess you'd still need a Cheery Audio account anyway.

Yeah, it's their gateway drug to their other paid synths. It's not one I've really used much but it's hard to argue with the price. I remember the original from the early 80's. I think Moog had a hand in designing and/or making it. And then it was sold like an expensive toy in Radio Shack/Tandy alongside the radio controlled cars and DJ mixers!

Thanks for the heads up! I like these simple synths and don't think I've noticed any other emulations of the MG-1.
