I don’t know anything really about immersive audio or Dolby surround so I’m curious to hear what people think of the plugins and the pricing structure. Is it worth it? I was thinking of upgrading Studio One just to have a surround option.

If you want to mix in surround/Atmos, that is possible in Reason using Fiedler Audio's Dolby Atmos Composer

It makes it very easy. You just put the Composer plugin on the master and an instance of the Beam plugin on each channel. So any stereo-only DAW like Reason, Bigwig, Live, etc. can become an Atmos mixing DAW
