Soundtoys will release SuperPlate at NAMM 2023

So...after around 1 billion years, ok, only 5 years...So, after 5 years they released the Little Plate they now will release the Super Plate, which is the big brother of Little Plate.

And they want between 50-150 bucks for it, depedning of what you already own.

Nothing groundbreaking implemented. It has a few algorithms, a bit of tweaking, filters, EQ, auto Decay and extra small sized UI on top.
Probably one release i will easily skip, even it might have great sound....but not for 50-150 bucks, sorry, no.

I'm half-inclined to jump on it for $50, but then I realise for the same price I could have Valhalla Plate

Given the simplicity of Little Plate compared to the other fully functional big brother Soundtoys plugins I very much suspect you you are drastically underestimating the added features. Also, when was the last time Soundtoys had a paid update? Is it so wrong for them to ask for $59 when those of us who own the full suite haven't paid for an upgrade in 8 years!!?? I think they are one of the more reasonable plugin companies.

Love LittlePlate as a dark smooth reverb. I was always wondering if they would make a non little version. But yeah I have to be tight with money for a while so gonna have to be good and stay away from this one.

Looks like it is released. Into price 79$ without tax. Upgrade price can go down to 29$.
