Hello
I want to add unison effect to each OSC in Subtractor SEPARATELY. So, I can control the amount of Unison of OSC 1 and OSC 2.
In fact, I want to add a Unison to OSC 1 and add another Unison to OSC 2.
What should I do?
Add unison effect to each oscillator in an instrument(Subtractor) SEPARATELY

Put two subtractors in a combinator.
-------
Analog tape ⇒ ESQ1 sequencer board ⇒ Atari/Steinberg Pro24 ⇒ Atari/Cubase ⇒ Cakewalk Sonar ⇒ Orion Pro/Platinum ⇒ Reaper ⇒ Reason DAW.

I thought there is a way through CV programming.

Subtractor has only one output, there is no way to route each oscillator to a different effect. So you need two subtractors if you want two separate signals, each into their own unison effect.

Start using Europa instead.
It can do that very easily.

Europa, but if you really want to build your own, like crimson said, use two subtractors...pretty light weight synths, wont really matter if you have two of them...or even a bunch of them...
Or use Malstrom separate outputs for each osc.

Why is this in the VST Plugins thread?
An idea to bring life to your oscillators is to modulate the phase with either LFO and detuning the oscillators slightly. That will give a spread detuning effect.

Simple.
As long as I get the answer.
Use Distributer and however many Subtractors you want depending on how many oscillators and how many notes, each playing it's own voice/oscillator and each to their own Unison device.Mohammadyarahmad wrote: ↑07 Feb 2023Hello

If you want 8 voices, make 16 Subtractors and 16 Unison devices so each oscillator goes through it's own Unison device. The power is there, it just takes a little imagination and a bit of work wiring things up.
Whether or not it is worth it to you to do so is another question entirely!

You don’t have to hold on to the hardware paradigm of making everything work with one device. It’s software; multiple instances are free, take advantage of that.
