Serum - need help

Just got Serum rent-to-own from Splice. Installed. Can see it in the Splice app but can’t find where or how to access it and open it in Reason.. or Logic! There’s no YouTube video for us it seems..

K. Got it working on Reason (I’m not very familiar with VSTs) but can’t seem to find Serum on my computer in order to put it in my VST folder where I have my UAD stuff. I even searched for it. Maybe cuz it’s on 3 day trial right now and in the Splice app?

Also, do you guys recommend a best source for quality presets? I really like Black Octopus and Future Music magazine has some free stuff sometimes.

Man Logic is so different than Reason! I feel dumb since I don’t even know how to start writing a midi melody yet Lots to learn. I’m inspired, making time again and 2023 is my year of music Good stuff coming.

I am a big fan of serum and think it is a great synth especially when reverse engineering presets as it is so visual. Preset wise I would just search online for free presets first as there are so many in different styles.

You can then consider buying packs from the sound designers you like based of the free packs.

So like I said, the other day I did the rent-to-own from Splice - already made the 1st payment. I made a bass track in Reason. It was working fine and now when I try to open it it says "Sorry, your license is expired." Even though the Serum bass is still playing just fine. I contacted Splice. Waiting to hear back.

Can someone explain how to post a picture here? I tried to drag & drop it from my desktop and also tried to attach but it says "HTTP error".
