It’s on sale at ADSR sounds for $49.99. I’ve got Modo Drum and RDK. Anyone use it?

Definitely worth the $50, but it is going to eat a lot of hard drive space. Here is a helpful review I found. https://gearspace.com/board/reviews/106 ... d-3-a.html

Thanks for that. Appreciate it. Already come to th realization that it’s just “can’t pass up a good GAS”. Thanks again though.

probably don’t really need another good drum plugin but I’ve been feeling the Addictive Drums UI has gotten a bit long in the tooth lately and the more flexible effects routing here seem appealing. $50 is a steal for a good drum library, so I’ll almost certainly pick this up in the next couple of weeks. thanks for the find!

I think I missed that BFD was acquired by inMusic (or I forgot).

Looks like "BFD Player" is planned for early 2023. https://www.bfddrums.com/drum-software/bfd-player.html
Probably lighter on disk space it's that's important to you. Maybe free or cheaper...although might not be cheaper than $50? *shrug*

It's possible an update to BFD might coincide with that? BFD4 perhaps? Has inMusic updated BFD3 since acquiring it?

BFD3 was first released in 2013, so 10 years seems like a good time to celebrate with a new version.

Mama never told me I'd be replaced with a computer when she got me that Ludwig Acrolite in '67.

I've also been looking at BFD since it's been on BF sale. But I kept reading that there's been all sorts of bugs with licenses and software activation ever since InMusic took over from Roli. And InMusic have a history of not maintaining and updating software, they already have another acoustic drum plugin called Strike that doesn't get much love or active development. So personally I would steer clear. Looks like either Superior Drummer or Addictive Drums would be better buys.
