Midi out from Pigments VST

Hi, I'd like to use the sequencer of Pigments, which has Midi out, to trigger another Instrument in the rack.
I am totally lost how to do this, the MIDI out device does not seem to be the right approach.
Any ideas much appreciated.

Reason doesn’t support midi out from VSTs. I have done this very thing with Pigments sequencer in Cubase though.

Was anything said specifically about not being a possibility for R12? Or was it said that the initial VST3 support would not include it?

I took the statement to mean vst midi support was not happening even when vst3 support arrives.

https://kushview.wpengine.com/element/ might help you with a workaround , by loading pigments and the other device not kushvew then mapping midi within that.

Have not used myself but has been suggested solution for scaler midi mapping, there are also other pad options which maybe easer to use.

Oh ok. When you said, "Mattias confirmed that R12 would not get vst midi support." It sounded like you were saying it was ruled out for R12.

I took the statement to mean both - would be happy to be wrong but I think it's a correct assumption based on the priorities for R12.
