I’ve had my eye on Bazille for a while but I know I don’t need it. Fighting serious GAS right now.
U-He sale
Yeah, same old crazy prices. Never understood this business model. Instead of getting your piece of code into everyone's computer, you have an amount of people wanting your product, not getting it ever. I mean it's a piece of code. Let us all have it and I mean ALL. And then we know how good it is, use it and want more of that and will buy more when you release something new...because we can afford it and we know they are all great products. I understand hardware prices, but never understood software. I would want my piece of code into everyone's computer. Isn't it better to have bazille bought by everyone who want's it for a half the price or have a lot of people not buying it for the high price? If I was Urs, I would like to see Mataya using my products. He will buy the next thing I produce, because he knows how good they are, but also affordable. Maybe there's something wrong with my logic?

Nope, I am of same opinion. Software prices are insane these days.Mataya wrote: ↑08 Nov 2022Yeah, same old crazy prices. Never understood this business model. Computer Music magazine provides free cutdown versions of Bazille and Zebra with any magazine purchase. Buy one issue of the mag and get a permanent licence for them, along with a bunch of other stuff.Chi-Individual wrote: ↑07 Nov 2022https://www.thomann.de/intl/u-he_virtua ... plers.html

Or just spend yer money on the full version. It's a decent synth but nothing unique.

CM Mag is actually the reason I got interested in Bazille to begin, because of Bazille CM. And funnily enough, after I made this post I remembered the CM Version and saw that they have Zebra 2 CM. And then I remembered that when I got my new laptop I didn’t even bother to reinstall either of them. So my GAS has been tamed until the RS BF sales startDaveyG wrote: ↑08 Nov 2022Computer Music magazine provides free cutdown versions of Bazille and Zebra with any magazine purchase.
