Just got this email:
The update you’ve been waiting for. MASCHINE 2.16 and KOMPLETE KONTROL 2.8 bring full Apple Silicon support for M1 processors, plus VST3 hosting.
I suppose that means that RRP should now run inside Maschine...

Will try at some point!

Maybe one day this century VST3 will be in Reason 12...

I think that leaves only Reason and MPC to catch up with the rest of the world.
We've had some good vibes from RS about the progress on VST3 and we still have that "by the end of the year" time frame so fingers crossed.

This is very good news for me - I would much rather use RRP than just about any of the synths in Komplete. I just know them better and can work faster. Interested to see how macro integration works with it though. I remember when I used to use it on Mac, it was just a jumble of very long and unreadable parameter names. So hoping things are improved on that front.

Okay tried it out; parameter names are still kinda long and hard to read, so I don't know what that's about. But I mean, it's not the end of the world.

I also noticed the VST3 window does not resize when the browser is opened. Not sure who I should flag that with, RS or NI?

But yeah overall, really cool. I had a little jam earlier essentially using RRP in place of just about everything and it feels like it's supercharged the Maschine. Really fun. Making me look at my desk of hardware synths and question my life choices......

....joking lol Hardware till I *DIE*.
