Thanks!

Any idea why Brainworx is listed separately? And does this mean all devs who operate under Plugin Alliance agreed to be a part of Soundwide? And does that mean ownership as well for those individual devs? I feel like that isn't the case...
It seems Brainworx operates independently I guess. I pretty much equate them as 1 company. Perhaps to could be set up as separate companies for the sake of separating assets. Steven Slate does similar with Slate Digital, Steven Slate Audio, and Steven Slate Drums being different companies.

If Plugin Alliance has a similar deal as NI and Izotope then They'd be operating independently as well so the other devs are likely still just 3rd parties similar to RE devs, Refill, and Pack creators are with Reason Studios. That'd be my guess.
Ok that makes sense. Those are all probably good comparisons. Thanks 👍

Where are you going to run to now, if everything is owned by a few?
They may need to do some 'savings' internally too.

But, let's stay positive.
How's that "glass half empty" philosophy working out for you?
So far a $600 savings.

Free Oberhausen. That’ll do me. Thanks :)
It's so good. Best synth freebie to come along since Vital imo

Also, that Shadow Hills compressor is excellent. And bx_masterdesk is surprisingly good too, a very simple but useful polisher-upper with well chosen EQ curves and a nicely designed set of features

Yeah, man... 😂

The Focusrite console ("secret weapon") and the black box are somewhere on all of my mixes.

The Focusrite console was the only thing I did not have from the freebies so looking forward to trying it out.

This Bundle iss a real nice gift, bought Oberhausen in the first sale when it was realesed and only this synth is a big big gift, or the best synth gift i´ve ever seen, together with the Blackbox HG2, Focusrite Channelstrip and Shadow Hill Mastering Comp it´s incredible If someone needs a real big sounding synth for less money buy knifonium in salle, it´s also really cool thick sounding device. I also bought elysia mpressor, Millennia NSEQ-2, Lindell Audio TE-100, Brainworx bx_digital V2 and the nice spectral grain delay sandman pro years ago. I have quiet the same collection of PA stuff like J at bedroomproducersblog comments and most stuff for free.
Plugin Alliance was and is the best pro effect seller in the market, most of the waves stuff compared with it is overpriced trash.

I don´t know why PA made this step, so last year they lost their working space in a flood and maybe the got a little bit bankrupt, we don´t know….

But thanks a lot for your work, PA is one of the companys how pushed the sound of small homeproducers massive :)

Any new group/company creation is welcome as long as it brings such nice gifts. We'll see what the future holds. Like moalla, I think Plugin Alliance offers a fantastic level of mixing and mastering tools. I didn't have the Focusrite channelstrip in my collection, I didn't think it had its own character so clearly marked, now I know that I will use it often.
Regarding their equipment damaged by the flood, if I remember correctly, Dirk Ulrich PA chief wrote after an organized collection and sale of their plugins that they collected more than 100k euros (in a few days) to rebuild the studio. I don't think they are in danger of bankruptcy but who knows.

I've bought stuff from all three, so I don't really have any issue with such a merger. The freebies from PA are very nice though. I tried out the black box HG-2 and was so impressed that i immediately fit it into the master bus that's in my default project template. It adds just the right kind and amount of saturation to enhance everything I've put through it so far.
