McDSP EC-300 Echo Collection free for a very limited time
Buggy GUI and no obvious way to load any presets that ship with the VST. I think this one will be uninstalled, even though the effects are useable.

YES, thanks Joeyluck! The 6.71 OSX version installed fine, it put the VST2 into the right place, and it works without a hitch in Reason.joeyluck wrote: ↑01 Mar 2022I did however contact them recently to get the download link for the latest VST2 version of SA-2...and that was version 6.7.1. I think the AU and VST3 support presets. I think think that's the case for their other plugins too. So might be worth checking again after Reason has VST3 support.
Thanks, that worked. Yeah the UI is a bit dodgy but it sounds great, especially on the analog setting. Almost passed on this one because I have a ridiculous number of delay plugins, but I'm glad I grabbed itjoeyluck wrote: ↑01 Mar 2022I couldn't find the release notes to know what the latest version was with VST2 support...

I was going to contact them to make sure it's the latest, but it seems to be working. Switching GUIs seems to be a little buggy sometimes—the top portion doesn't update until you hover over it (or close and reopen the window). Hopefully VST3 support for Reason isn't too far off, so I can get up to date then...
If anybody has a link to release notes, let me know!
I'm running the VST3 version using Blue Cat Audio's Patchwork and no way I can see to load presets.
It says presets are included, but they need to be downloaded separately for VST2.
From the FAQ: https://www.mcdsp.com/support/plug-in-s ... pport-faq/
They are fxb patches, which should be able to be loaded by Reason's VST device in the rack. I can't get them to load though...Where are the VST3 presets installed on the Windows system?

I am trying to use one of your VST[2] plug-ins but I cannot find any presets.
Since we only recently released VST2 presets, they are not currently included in the plugins. Please download them here: http://downloads.mcdsp.com/v6/VST_prese ... resets.zip
Do people really need presets for a device like this?

If a Delay can produce good flanger effects, slap back, reverb, chorus and more, than yea, presets are useful...huggermugger wrote: ↑02 Mar 2022Well, what's the alternative? Learning how to use such a simple device? Ain't nobody got time fo' dat.

Finally was able to get the vst in the right folder and reason to recognize it, and it now works... But crashed within five minutes of me loading it and playing around. Trying to adjust the EQ on the digital mode seems to consistently cause it to crash Reason on my Intel Mac running Monterrey.huggermugger wrote: ↑01 Mar 2022YES, thanks Joeyluck! Did they say "this spring" or just say "spring"? Because spring is coming. Then the one after that will be coming.MrFigg wrote: ↑07 Mar 2022Hahahahahahahahabahabahahahaha. Good onemanisnotabird wrote: ↑06 Mar 2022

They probably meant spring in the air as in “you can go and take a jump if you think anything will get fixed”.

EC300 is really helpful, this hosts two separate delay lines, which can be configured in single, parallel, or ping-pong modes. Single-mode provides just one delay control, producing the kind of delays you might expect from a single-head tape echo, while dual mode provides separate controls for the two delay lines, which by default are panned hard left and right. In ping-pong mode, delay one feeds into delay two.joeyluck wrote: ↑28 Feb 2022https://sonicstate.com/news/2022/03/01/ ... -plug-ins/
