Haven't seen any topics spring up over this one - possibly because it's a bit esoteric?

But the thing that struck me upon seeing it was how I immediately thought of the Scenic RE. Now, once I went and looked up Scenic, the resemblance is more superficial, but it's there - a big round dial in the middle, teal blue and grey color scheme... perhaps someone with more gear knowledge can tell me, but are these instruments trying to resemble some specific real-world piece of equipment, or is this just some kind of coincidence?

I think the inspiration of the big knob and colour can be seen at 3:15

Ah ha! But what IS it? He kinda waved at it while mentioning [some word I didn't catch] filters.

I'm pretty sure it's one of these:

https://odnd.nl/measurement-equipment-o ... l-6073-new

EDIT: not exactly the same but definitely the same brand. Possibly a newer version or something like that.

Analog tape ⇒ ESQ1 sequencer board ⇒ Atari/Steinberg Pro24 ⇒ Atari/Cubase ⇒ Cakewalk Sonar ⇒ Orion Pro/Platinum ⇒ Reaper ⇒ Reason DAW.

It could be the "Bruel&Kjaer Audio Frequency Spectrometer Type 2113":

In case you havent seen this, there is this early electronic music studio simulation, here:

"Bruel&Kjaer" certainly looks like something that if someone said it out loud to me for the first time I wouldn't have had the faintest idea what they were saying.
