SSL Native Flexverb - PB sale ($29.99)
It's a lot cheaper now in comparison *scnr*
But I'm also wondering if I would like to pick up another (I suppose quality) reverb, as the reduced price has reached the "might take a look" level now.
Thats the point. My GAS is itching, but i try to stop it
So in fact, FabFilter Pro-R can do all that stuff and even more.
You can also do all that stuff with Reason stock devices.
There might be some differences in the algorithms, reflections and overall sound. But is it really worth it? Do i really need it? Or does only my GAS want something new ?
Reason12, Win10
I like it but it has a more realistic metallic (like any SSL verb models I've used). Its a nice blending reverb lets say to put a vocalist in a room. Think sort of like nimbus but with eq and compression possibilities to shape it. I like it when I need something to have a different space than the rest of the music. I use FF when I'm trying to create an atmosphere/environment. Two different uses and sounds.

It's a bit better if you place it at the very tip top of your rack. LOL!

Someone dropped it obviously, all the pots are bent upward

I'm not hugely sensitive to how something looks but that screenie looks like a badly done Photoshop mashup of two different devices.
The left hand half looks like it's from a different decade to the right hand half. And, yeah, those knobs.
So not one for me. Most of my reverb comes from Studio One stock devices with more creative stuff coming from FabFilter or Soundtoys. I don't know how many other reverbs I have on my system but I know that I hardly ever use any of them!
