I just picked up VI Labs True Keys Pianos at Audio Plugin deals. I've been using Reason Pianos refill and the Alan Parson's Piano for years. I think this True keys bundle sounds better.

Have you tried the Radical Piano rack extension? And if so how do you think it compares?
- Shocker: I have a SoundCloud!
I have Radical Piano. It does not sound like a real piano to me. The Reason Pianos refill sounds better than Radical Piano and this VST sounds better than the refill.integerpoet wrote: ↑11 Jun 2021Have you tried the Radical Piano rack extension? And if so how do you think it compares?

That in itself is a fascinating observation. I wonder what the rest of the forum thinks.
Exactly the data point I wanted. Thanks.…and this VST sounds better than the refill.

I think that's the consensus. There's not much love for Radical Pianos - it's "fine". (And I have it!)integerpoet wrote: ↑12 Jun 2021That in itself is a fascinating observation. I wonder what the rest of the forum thinks.
Welcome to great piano sound! The refills were good for their time but everything else has long overtaken it.
I bought Rad Piano the day it arrived in the Shop. Same with Rad Keys. Not good. Neither one of them. Like the refill though.EdGrip wrote: ↑13 Jun 2021I think that's the consensus. There's not much love for Radical Pianos - it's "fine". (And I have it!)integerpoet wrote: ↑12 Jun 2021
