Is there a limit of the number of instruments on the dropdown in reason 12

Recently I’ve had issues that suddenly one application and the contents like native instruments will disappear and if I load it via preferences pathway it will appear snd my waves plugins disappear versa vica with arturia collection 8 disappears if I load native instruments- this is a recent issue and driving me round the bend

sorry my bad - I meant reason 11
so recently installed SampleTank 4 and after that the existing instruments would disappear when I log into reason 11 from the instrument dropdown - I have a few VSTs such as Arturia collection 8 and native instruments KONKAKT 6 and a couple of WAVES instruments e.g.rhapsody piano plus some others.

since then I have deleted the SampleTank 4 -
now reason 11 takes a long time to log in - I use a 1tb SSD to store - reason songs, sound presets and sound libraries,
either one of the above instruments/VSTs are not present
I go to the preference tab on reason and locate the pathway then start again

so far I have uninstalled and reinstalled reason 11 and native instruments and Arturia and keep getting the same issue

I use a MacBook Pro 2015 13' retina -

prior to loading SampleTank 4 it was fine.

I have contacted ik multimedia to no success and so far people have advised to uninstall and install

I also use clean my Mac daily to purge and keep MacBook clear of bugs etc
