Native instruments konkakt disappeared from reason 11

Ok loaded sample tank 4 successfully on MacBook Pro and showed up in reason - however all my arturia and native instruments disappeared - using preferences advanced I located arturia successfully but still unable to find the right path for native instruments to use so when I get reason to rescan it would find konkack 5/6 and Kimplete konkakt

The sound library is kept on external hard drive

You can get the path for Kontakt's VST file by launching Native Access, clicking on the profile icon (top right) and selecting "Preferences". Every path (standalone apps, content, VST32, VST64...) is listed there.
