Like all Audio Thing plugins, Wave Box is awesome. Probably not a must-have if you've already got something like Trash2, but the interface is simpler and it's quicker/easier to work with

Snagged this. Nice GUI but i find Trash 2 does this and more. If you don't have Trash 2 i think this is a good option.

Trash2 is packed with features and great for sound design, you can get lost in it for days. But this is probably a quicker option if you just want to crunch up some drumsMattLeschuck wrote: ↑04 Mar 2021Snagged this. Nice GUI but i find Trash 2 does this and more. Here’s the thing. If Wave Box was on sale for €10 I probably wouldn’t buy it. So buying some crap for say €7 just to get it seems a bit stupid.
The $2 I spent to get Valves on the other hand was money well spent. It’s a nice plugin.

Despite Trash 2 being deep, i find it quite easy to get a quick "crunch" as well.. I think the biggest thing going for it is the multiband option. It just really lets you sculpt what you want. To be honest, Trash 2, now that i think about it is my most used / favorite Izotope plugin (and i own the whole music 3 bundle).dvdrtldg wrote: ↑04 Mar 2021Trash2 is packed with features and great for sound design, you can get lost in it for days. Not a fan of Audiothing plugs, but tried WaveBox demo, liked. Some of hidden pros can be dropdown lists of available algos in his shape module, that was not exactly demonstrate in video. I think will grab at PB with something.
(Valves already was in 2019 as free)
From good waveshapers there is also Apulsoft's shaper, highly recommend, and fair price.
