Arturia - Free Gift - Chorus JUN-6
Just downloading now.
They did the same in the past with the Reverbs. And they never released only 1 effeckt device of its type - we have 3 compressors, 3 pre-amps, 3 reverbs, ...
Reason12, Win10
No. Or i missed it.

3 filters - and that was IIRC the first giveaway for x-mas: that Moog ladder filter. I could bite my b*** until today that I ignored it at the time.

Bite your bats? Bass? batch? Boat? Which is it?
Man i ignored it too I ignored it so much that up until this very moment I had no idea that that was given away for free
It sounds different, especially the I+II mode. Not sure which plugin is the most realistic one regarding this combined mode. The Manual mode is the most interesting one imo. Nice Christmas gift.
Btw when comparing the two, you might want to turn down the volume of the TAL Chorus a little.
Yeah, it's kind of nice. Got about a hundred million choruses already but it's Juno so what's not to like right?Lotuz2019 wrote: β22 Dec 2020It sounds different, especially the I+II mode. For ppl who don't like having too many downloaders or just want to stay "in the box", I made a really nice sounding emulation of the Juno chorus using only Reason native devices - will put it in my future FX combinator pack.
Here.

That's weird... I downloaded it, but it's showing up in the Arturia installer as Demo Mode and there's a "Buy" button which takes me to a broken page. No registration # appearing in the installer or my Arturia account
God damn it this is highly inconveniencing where's my xmas present I want my present waah waaah wahhh

Arturia's licensing infrastructure could use an upgrade, given the issues during the V Collection 8 rollout.
I think we're just seeing a similar problem right now, with the Juno chorus taking a long time to propagate to everyone's account.

It is DIVINE !
Mode I and II are very nice and smooth. The manual mode is a nice bonus. Mode I+II is the weirdest s%Β€#t ever But I was no big fan of it anyhow. I'll retire TAL now, can barely see it anyhow as it is slightly bigger than 1x1 pixels
Arturia's will be a nice complement to Chenille that is more aggressive in the Juno patches I dialed in, Arturia's is maybe a little too smooth and Dim-D like for 100% authenticity, but I don't mind, it is DIVINE non the less.
Valhalla Γbermod can do chorus pretty well too, but it is wonky to dial in and seems geared toward "too much", Chenille is a bit of a hassle to dial in as well, and Arturia just do it nicely - one button, bam done, like it...
[Edit] Loaded an OBx patch in Diva and put on Waves Kaledioscopes, my own chorus pad preset, oh my, another winner. Sure it has two chorus modules and it is not free, but I prefer this over Γbermod and Chenille, more versatile and easier to dial in useful sounds. And you can use the flanger or phaser to get more sounds. Kaledioscopes UI is a little too busy, but the basic dials are easy to work with and it makes sense pretty quickly.
But I will use Arturia's Juno for sure, free as it is, and it does the standard Juno chorus very nicely. I did not A/B it with Roland, cuz I only care if it sounds good or not, I'm not making a sound museum that must have 100% accuracy
GRAB Arturia's while it is free, foolish not to...

10% off at Waves with link: https://www.waves.com/r/6gh2b0
Disclaimer - I get 10% as well.

Grateful as I am to the OP for passing on this info, I'd just like to point out that "free gift" is a tautology
YES! This is SO goooood. GUI on this is so slick and beautiful - take note RE developers.

I did a quick A/B experiment with Quartet in BBD mode. It sounded about 5% warmer and nicer (IMHO obvs) within it's range, but it's range is fairly narrow. I'm a big fan of Arturia fx and this fits right in with the collection. But if I wasn't in the eco system I probably wouldn't bother.
