I’ve downloaded both demos to compare.

The Tal definitely seems to use less CPU then the Repro. Anyone else finding that?

You can't just get Repro-5. You buy Repro and you get -1 and -5. I'd go with that. U-He does discounts very rarely. And they're just awesome synths, too.

I only make my own patches. I don’t use presets made by other people.

I ended up with the Tal Jupiter 8. It’s a brilliant synth.

The Repro was too power hungry for me although it did sound fantastic .

Me too. Great synth. Presets are shit, but when you start tweaking, it shows it's power very qucikly.
