I haven't tried it yet, but look interesting for 10 bucks. Has some new variations of the op algorithms, an FX section, large one page UI.

I'm not gonna miss menu diving in the old Yamaha FM synths

FM8 and Zero RE are a bit too complex for making basic classic FM sounds imo.

You can add a sample layer for an attack sound but I could not see that it has pitch envelopes.

I bought it for $10 yesterday. I’m no synth guy but I’m glad I got this one. Really easy to use and sounds great.

After a little routing around - I agree that pitch envelopes are lacking... however... you can set LFO to RETRIG and set PITCH on that - which by the looks of it is GLOBAL.
